Quickly check if your blood pressure is normal. If you suffer from high blood pressure in your daily life, you should pay attention to the following.

1. The principle of taking antihypertensive drugs is: start with a small dose and try to use long-acting drugs to maintain a stable blood pressure for 24 hours.
Antihypertensive therapy must reach a certain level of blood pressure, that is, "target blood pressure", in order to minimize the damage of high blood pressure to organs. In order to achieve the target blood pressure, it is usually necessary to take two or more antihypertensive drugs at the same time.

The drug treatment of hypertension is to "control" blood pressure, not to "cure" high blood pressure.

Currently, there is no drug that can cure high blood pressure. After taking antihypertensive drugs, blood pressure drops to normal does not mean that the disease has been cured. Once you stop taking the medication, or are overly tired, nervous and emotional, your blood pressure will rise again.

2. Antihypertensive drugs should not be replaced frequently!
Many patients have this misunderstanding: The medications that are taken for a few days without lowering blood pressure should be changed.

Each antihypertensive drug has an onset time and a time to reach the maximum effect. When changing or adding drugs, blood pressure must be observed for at least 2 weeks. Frequent replacement of the drug can not observe the exact effect. At the same time, it will cause increased blood pressure fluctuations, poor blood pressure control and affect mood, leading to a vicious circle.

3. Don\'t just lower your head and take medicine, and don\'t pay attention to the effect changes.
Some people realize that high blood pressure should continue to take antihypertensive drugs and can do it, but they never recheck their blood pressure and go to the hospital to buy medicine every month, or buy some medicine at the pharmacy. This is also irresponsible to myself. In order to reduce the damage of high blood pressure to organs and reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, it is very important to control blood pressure at an appropriate level. We call it the "target blood pressure", so we must pay special attention to daily blood pressure monitoring.

4. Blood pressure suddenly rises, but don\'t blindly believe in infusion therapy.
Hypertension is a chronic disease, and antihypertensive treatment is a long-term process. Except for certain emergencies that can cause a sharp increase in blood pressure, even if the blood pressure level is high, there is no need for infusion therapy. If the blood pressure rises rapidly in a short period of time, accompanied by headache, chest pain, nausea and vomiting, you must go to the hospital for treatment, and the doctor will take appropriate measures according to the situation.

Some diseases require intravenous fluids to lower blood pressure quickly. If it is an acute cerebrovascular disease, even if the blood pressure reaches 200mmHg, do not lower the blood pressure immediately. Rapidly lowering blood pressure can lead to insufficient blood supply to the brain. If blood pressure rises significantly over a period of time, accompanied by mild headaches and dizziness, intravenous fluids are not required. Antihypertensive therapy is not about lowering blood pressure as quickly as possible, nor is it about lowering blood pressure. Different diseases have different requirements for the speed and magnitude of blood pressure reduction, so you must not lower blood pressure blindly and quickly.

5. Long-term blood pressure control, antihypertensive drugs without adverse reactions, and no drug resistance problems.
In the initial stage of antihypertensive treatment, blood pressure needs to be closely monitored and medications adjusted until a suitable antihypertensive drug is found. Antihypertensive drugs with good blood pressure control and no adverse reactions can be taken for a long time without the problem of drug resistance. On the contrary, frequent drug replacement is not conducive to the stable control of blood pressure.

However, long-term use of antihypertensive drugs is not good. Patients with high blood pressure who have been taking drugs for a long time should go to the hospital for follow-up regularly and measure their blood pressure frequently.

Various stress situations in life and changes in the four seasons may cause blood pressure fluctuations. This is not because the original antihypertensive drugs are resistant, but because other reasons cause blood pressure to rise, or with the development of age and disease, the original drugs are not enough to control blood pressure. The dose or type of antihypertensive drug

High blood pressure and heart problems should go to the hospital for examination in time.
